It may seem silly for folks to pay attention to Jane Fonda, Sissy Spacek and Jessica Lange talking about America’s farm problems, but is it any worse than listening to Ronald Reagan as General Electric’s voice of big business in the days before he ran for office? Just because actors speak doesn’t mean we have to listen to them--or politicians either, for that matter.
