Regarding Robert Hilburn’s review of Phil Collins’ June 2 concert at Irvine Meadows (“One More Time, One More Night,” June 4):

I want a job writing for The Times. Someone had better replace Hilburn soon. I’m sure the Asbury Park Bugle will gladly take him on as a “Pop Music Critic.”

Who cares how many times a certain phrase is repeated in a certain song (Collins’ “One More Night”). If you dislike it that much, Bob, you shouldn’t even have gone to the concert.

By the way, I remember Hilburn’s review of David Bowie (his most recent Forum appearance). Springsteen’s name was mentioned at least eight times, in one article. Who is he to talk of repetitiveness?
