A 23-year-old man was jailed Friday morning on suspicion of robbing an Anaheim bank Wednesday, police said.
The suspect, Richard Thomas Knight, was arrested at a Fullerton apartment Friday morning by Anaheim police and FBI narcotics agents, Sgt. Michael Murphy said. He said Knight was booked into the Anaheim City Jail and remained there late Friday. Bail was set at $50,000.
According to Murphy, Anaheim police “developed information” that Knight “was responsible for the robbery of Security Pacific Bank, 1664 W. Crescent Ave. on Wednesday.” Murphy said he could not elaborate on that information.
