The Orange County Transit District board of directors will consider a proposed increase in bus fares at a public hearing Thursday. The proposal is to raise bus fares for most riders from 75 cents to 80 cents. The proposed Dial-A-Ride increase would be from $1.50 to $1.60 and express buses from $2.25 to $2.40. Senior and handicapped fares for off-peak hours would remain lower than general rates.
