Pakistan Offers Aid to Saudis if Attacked

MANAMA, Bahrain — Pakistan has offered to come to the aid of Saudi Arabia if Israel attacks its new Chinese ballistic missile bases, a Saudi newspaper said Saturday.
The Riyadh-based Saudi Gazette quoted a Foreign Ministry spokesman in Islamabad as saying “any threat against the security of Saudi Arabia will be regarded as a threat against the security of the entire Muslim nation.”
The Pakistani spokesman expressed “full backing” to Saudi Arabia against “recent threats” from Israel.
