Johnnie Allen Sr., a former standout basketball player at Bethune-Cookman and now an elementary school physical education teacher in West Palm Beach, Fla., was suspended by school officials after being charged with selling crack. A 6-foot-7 center, Allen averaged 28 points and 12.9 rebounds in the 1968-69 collegiate season.
