The city’s pest-control contractor will receive a 3% payment increase in 1992, the second year of its agreement with the city.
The City Council on Tuesday voted 3 to 0 to pay Mayfield Enterprises $24,645.84, up from $23,928. The additional money will come from city landscape district funds.
Mayfield has worked to rid the city of gophers, ground squirrels, rats and mice since it signed a contract in January, 1990.
The original one-year contract between the city and Mayfield can be renewed for up to five years.
Councilwoman Nancy Manners was absent.
