MSL’s Foreman Seeking to Clear Up Sale of Storm

Major Soccer League Commissioner Earl Foreman will travel to St. Louis today to try to spark some momentum in the stalled sale of the St. Louis Storm, a franchise now in hibernation.
The seven-team league remains in a holding pattern, wary of approaching the 1992-93 season.
Foreman will have his work cut out for him--Milan Mandaric, current majority owner of the Storm, will not be in St. Louis, according to his secretary. She said Mandaric was not answering questions regarding the Storm.

Morse’s victory in the event was scratched after Monica Henderson dropped the baton as she began her anchor leg. There was controversy whether Henderson actually completed the handoff before dropping the baton.
