Overseeing Hotel Sale: Optima Asset Management Services Inc. of Newport Beach has been appointed to take bids for the sale of the Santa Monica Beach Hotel, an unfinished 200-room luxury hotel there that is in Chapter 11 bankruptcy. A committee composed of the hotel’s secured creditors selected the property management firm to oversee the sale.
