Signs of the Times

In response to the Nov. 15 story, “Sign Patrol Cracks Down on Illegal Advertisements”: Are you kidding me? I can’t believe Orange County is actually paying someone our tax dollars to remove signs, especially in a recession.
Times are tough, and if I need to sell some old stuff to pay bills, I’m going to do everything in my power to do just that, including hanging signs to advertise.
I also find it hard to believe that a sign is any more dangerous to our children than a tree branch or a car or any other danger of the street.
Come on, Orange County, lighten up.
