Regulators Beef Up Trading Rules: Traders in the nation’s clamorous futures pits will have to keep better track of their orders by writing them down immediately, under changes approved by federal regulators. The Commodity Futures Trading Commission also adopted new rules on broker associations, which are groups of traders who band together to provide capital to finance trades and extra people to handle them. The rules provide a legal definition of broker associations and require them to register with the exchange at which they do business.
