Clean Air Award Given to Pasadena Company

Avery Dennison, a company based in Pasadena, has received a Clean Air Award from the South Coast Air Quality Management District.
The award was presented for the firm’s new technology in developing solvent-free adhesive coating for pressure-sensitive labels. The solvent-free technology reduces air emissions at manufacturing facilities.
Avery Dennison makes office products, labels, tags and specialty chemicals. It has nearly 17,000 employees in 200 manufacturing facilities and sales offices in 23 countries.
