PREMIERE EVENTS: It’s unusual for Ventura County theater companies to stage original works. They can usually count on larger audiences if they stage old favorites. But this weekend, two plays by county residents--both costume pieces--will have their world premieres in Thousand Oaks and Ojai (Ventura County Life, J6).
