UC IRVINE NOTES : Battle Suspended One Game

Shaun Battle, a sophomore forward on the UC Irvine men’s basketball team, has been suspended through Saturday’s game against Cal State Northridge for violating team rules, Coach Rod Baker announced Wednesday.

Popi Edwards was named to the NCAA Division I All-Northwest region volleyball team. Edwards, a sophomore outside hitter, led the Anteaters with 405 kills this past season.
