Chad Therapeutics Reports Profit Surge

Chad Therapeutics, a Chatsworth maker of oxygen-conserving devices used by patients with respiratory problems, said its fiscal third-quarter profit surged 71% on nearly as big a jump in sales.
For the three months ended Dec. 31, Chad earned $524,831, compared with $306,965 a year earlier. Sales rose 61%, to $2.5 million from $1.5 million in Chad’s 1992 fiscal third quarter.
For the first nine months of fiscal 1993, Chad’s net income rose 62% to $1.5 million from $917,946 in the same period a year ago. Sales climbed 66% to $6.9 million from $4.2 million.
