BUENA PARK — An man disguised in a postal uniform robbed an armored truck guard Wednesday as he was making a delivery at the American First Federal Credit Union, police said.
The man entered the credit union in the 6800 block of Knott Avenue about 10:30 a.m., according to Sgt. Robert R. Chaney Jr. A few minutes later, a transport company guard with a money bag walked into the bank and was confronted by the robber, who displayed a semiautomatic handgun and ordered the guard to the floor.
The robber fled with the money in what police believe was a late 1980s Honda Accord.
