Santa Clarita / Antelope Valley : Teen-Ager Falls From Truck, Dies

VALENCIA — A 16-year-old boy died Wednesday when he fell out of the rear bed of a pickup truck that was being used to move furniture, police said.
The boy, a Hart High School student whose name was withheld by authorities, died shortly after the 12:45 a.m. accident at the intersection of Orchard Village Road and Wiley Canyon Road, said Sgt. Rick Doan of the Santa Clarita Valley station of the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department.
Police are investigating the incident.
