Green, Green, It’s All Green: The fifth annual Eco Expo exhibition of environmental goods, billed as the world’s largest “green” trade show, runs Friday through Sunday at the Los Angeles Convention Center. The more than 400 exhibits, open to the public from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday ($7 adults), offer everything from environmental computer games to test drives of the latest alternative-fuel vehicles. Friday is reserved for seminars and speakers on alternative transportation; environmental buying, marketing and retailing; green fashion; green computer use, and green construction techniques. Speakers range from Noel Brown, director of the United Nations Environmental Programme, to Mary Nichols, head of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s air pollution unit, to executives from companies large and small, including Apple Computer, Johnson & Johnson and Home Depot.
