Making a Difference

The Nov. 17 article about Larry Townsend and the resulting activism generated by the “Million Man March” moved me to tears. I’m also a 51-plus grad of UCLA, except I’m white and female.
The commitment to making a difference in one’s community is the most life-enhancing activity around. We all need to be reminded of this over and over again.
