One of Disneyland’s attractions in the 1950s was “The House of the Future,” a round structure built around a pond and elevated on a pedestal.
The interior resembled a 1950s-style coffee shop with such futuristic inventions as the microwave oven.
The house’s popularity declined in the 1960s, and it was eventually removed.
