Dan Harrington
Esperanza, Junior
Volleyball/Outside hitter
Harrington was a solid player for the Aztecs last season, a second-team all-Sunset League selection. This year, however, he has come back stronger. “He’s one of our best passers and he has a 39-inch vertical leap,” Esperanza Coach Kurt Kersten said. “He elevates really well and sees the block well and puts the ball away for us.” Saturday, Harrington helped his team to the title at the Orange County Championships. He had 14 kills in a 15-0, 11-15, 15-10 victory over top-ranked Huntington Beach in the final.
