This Class Will Have Kids Doing Cartwheels

HUNTINGTON BEACH — A weeklong gymnastics camp for children 7 to 13 years old will begin Aug. 12 at Murdy Community Center, 7000 Norma Drive.
The course, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily, will teach basic gymnastic skills, such as cartwheels, roundoffs, rolls, walkovers, headstands and, for intermediate students, back handsprings.
