Coyotes Fight Off a Late Flurry

Keith Tkachuk scored his third goal in two games and Mike Eastwood scored the game-winner to lead the Phoenix Coyotes past the Kings, 3-2, at Phoenix for their third consecutive exhibition victory.
The Kings lost their second in a row despite firing nine shots at Nikolai Khabibulin during their five-minute power play, and two more unsuccessful ones after Jamie Storr was pulled for an extra attacker.
Petr Klima and Ed Olczyk scored for the Kings. Cliff Ronning scored the Coyotes’ other goal.
