Man Held as Cat Burglar to Rich, Famous

GREENWICH, Conn. — A man suspected of being a cat burglar who stole millions of dollars in silver from Bruce Springsteen, Ivana Trump and other celebrities has been arrested at a shopping mall, carrying a directory of the rich and famous in America.

Blane David Nordahl is suspected in burglaries up and down the East Coast, including one in which 120 pairs of silver salt-and-pepper shakers were taken from Trump’s home in Greenwich.

Police wouldn’t say what was stolen in the other burglaries.
