Police are asking for the public’s help locating a man they say shot two people in October in separate incidents.
Police said Roy Harold Burnett Jr., 25, shot a man outside a Westminster restaurant Oct. 12 after an altercation. And on Oct. 25, he shot a man in Santa Ana over a long-running personal dispute, police said. Both victims survived.
Burnett is wanted on two counts of attempted murder.
Burnett is described as black, 5 feet 7 inches tall, 170 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes. He also has the letters “NH” tattooed on the backs of both upper arms. A known gang member, Burnett is considered armed and dangerous, police said.
Anyone with information about Burnett or the shootings is asked to call the Santa Ana Police gang unit at (714) 245-8648 or investigator Jeff Launi at (714) 245-8332.
