An 11-year dispute over the condition of a Ranchwood Road property may soon be resolved.
The City Council has upheld a decision by its Planning Commission, that declared the property a public nuisance and ordered the homeowner to clean up.
In the last 11 years, the city has sent 18 notices to Marcella Napolitan, who lives at 13151 Ranchwood Road, requesting that overgrown weeds, some 15 to 20 feet tall, and trash be removed.
The city also is seeking to recover $3,707 in administrative costs from dealing with the problem. Napolitan was ordered to clean up the property in 30 days or the city will direct workers to do the job.
