The grants are part of Merrill Lynch’s Southern California Partnership for Economic Achievement, a $77-million pilot program aimed at creating financial opportunities for ethnically diverse communities in both counties, foundation officials said.
Among the Orange County recipients: 100 Black Men of Orange County, $50,000; Santa Ana Unified School District, $20,000; and Vietnamese Community of Orange County, $75,000.
