Online Credit

A New York developer of digital money products has closed a deal to make it easier to make purchases on the Internet with a credit card.
CyberCash licensed its technology to First USA, one of the nation’s largest credit card issuers, with more than 43 million customers, to make it easier to pay by credit card on the Net.
The InstaBuy technology would allow a person to buy something from an online store without having to input payment information at each store. The purchases would be charged to whatever credit card the customer chose. (It would not have to be a First USA card.)
The deal gives the InstaBuy product credibility and distribution to thousands of merchants that have relationships with First USA.
