The Tour d’Olympiad charity bike tour will retrace the original course of the 1984 Olympic race around Lake Mission Viejo on April 11. More than 1,000 cyclists are expected to participate in the event, which starts at 6:30 a.m. Proceeds from the sponsors and entrance fees--$22 per person, $25 after Friday--will help pay for the graduation nights of Saddleback Unified schools and raise money for the tri-county chapter of the Leukemia Society in honor of a Mission Viejo High senior who has the disease. A registration party, complete with a cycling clinic, will be from noon to 4 p.m. April 10 at Wild Oats, 27142 La Paz Road. Information: (949) 859-3291 or the tour’s Web page, https://www.tourdo.com.
