* Each year, 10.8 million children under age 18 move.
* The highest mobility rates are found for young adults in their 20s.
* The average person moves 11 times in his or her lifetime, statistically once every seven years.
* In 1999, Vermont was the No. 1 magnet state, while North Dakota was the No. 1 outbound state.
