A 17-year-old boy was stabbed repeatedly Monday at San Bernardino High School but later reported in good condition at a hospital, authorities said.
A San Bernardino City Unified School District spokeswoman said the stabbing occurred about 10 a.m. near the school cafeteria as the boy was going to a class.
A school security guard on a bicycle caught the suspect, a 17-year-old who is not a student at the school, and reportedly took a small hunting knife from him. Police arrested the suspect.
The victim, a senior, reportedly had argued with the assailant, authorities said.
