With economic uncertainty looming at home and abroad, more than 200 local business leaders, importers and exporters will huddle at a breakfast meeting Tuesday to hear predictions on the future course of global trade--and particularly how it is expected to affect Mexico and China, two of Southern California’s largest trading partners. The fifth annual Breakfast Beyond the Waterfront gathering, hosted by the Port of Los Angeles, also will examine foreign trade trends that hold the most promise for Southern California businesses. It will be held 7:30 to 9 a.m. at the Regal Biltmore Hotel. Call (310) 732-3508 for information.
