In the other semifinal:

Dana Hills 4, Santa Margarita 3 (5, time)--Jessica Van Houten singled home the tying run and Candice Rainwater drove in the game winner for Dana Hills (5-1) in the bottom of the fifth.

Van Houten homered, drove in two runs, scored three runs and stole two bases. Santa Margarita is 4-1.

In a consolation game:

Orange Lutheran 2, Edison 1 (9)--Rachel Bomgren scored on a fielder’s choice off the bat of Nicole Sandberg in the bottom of the ninth inning for Orange Lutheran (3-2).

Laura Miklos went the distance for the Lancers, striking out 13.

Orange Lutheran plays Capistrano Valley for the consolation championship today at 6 p.m.

In the Fullerton tournament:

Villa Park 3, La Habra 1--Jillian Sandoval drove in two runs and Kindal Kincaid earned the victory for the Spartans (3-4). Amber Turner (1-2) suffered the loss for La Habra (2-3), which tied the score with one run in the fifth, before Villa Park put two on the board in its half of the inning.
