Palisades Seeded No. 1 for Volleyball Playoffs

Palisades, a school familiar with volleyball success, is seeded No. 1 for the City Section girls’ volleyball playoffs.
The Dolphins (13-0), who have won 21 championships since the City Section began holding playoffs in 1973, will host Franklin in a first-round match Tuesday.
Chatsworth (13-0), which lost in the City final last season, is seeded No. 2, followed by Van Nuys (12-1), defending champion Sylmar (11-2) and Garfield (13-0).
