State Council to Discuss Transfers Proposal

A California Interscholastic Federation proposal that aims to curb the rise in transfers for athletic purposes will be discussed at the state federated council meeting from 1-5 p.m. today at the Los Angeles Airport Marriott.
The proposal would require school officials to certify that no one connected with booster clubs or athletic departments had contact with prospective transfers.
