Korean in U.S. Military Truck Kills Woman

A U.S. military truck driven by a South Korean employee struck and killed a jaywalking woman, police said. Park Tae Heon, 45, was hit Tuesday in Inchon, west of Seoul.
In June, two teenage girls on their way to a birthday party were killed by a U.S. military armored vehicle on a training mission. Two soldiers were acquitted of negligent homicide in U.S. military court, triggering weeks of protests.
Park Sang Jin, the driver of the truck Tuesday, was in custody. Police were preparing accidental homicide charges.
