Connery, Guber Settle Dispute Over Film
Actor Sean Connery and producer Peter Guber have settled a legal dispute over the proposed CIA thriller “End Game.” Terms weren’t disclosed.
Connery filed the lawsuit last year, alleging that Guber and his Mandalay Pictures agreed to pay him $17 million for the starring role but lacked funding to make the film because its German financing dried up.
In a joint statement, the men said they were withdrawing their lawsuits, Connery was dropping his fraud allegations, and Connery and producing partner Rhonda Tollefson would continue to develop “End Game” as a starring vehicle for Connery.
