Men to Be Tried in Stadium Killing

Two men must stand trial on murder charges in the fatal shooting of a 25-year-old fan in the Dodger Stadium parking lot last fall, a judge ruled Tuesday.
Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Michael Luros ordered that Pete Marron, 20, and Manuel Hernandez, 33, both of South Gate, be arraigned Feb. 18 in the death of Marc Antenorcruz of West Covina, Los Angeles County Deputy Dist Atty. Tom Rubinson said.
Police said Antenorcruz was walking out of the stadium after a game on the night of Sept. 19 when he got into an argument with a group of men that included Marron.
Marron took a gun out of a truck, fired twice and fled with another man in the truck, detectives said.
A passerby noted the license plate and Hernandez was arrested about three hours later. A police tip led to Marron’s arrest in early December.
