The Ventura County Chinese American Assn. will celebrate the Year of the Rooster, 4703, which begins Wednesday, during “Cultural Night & Chinese New Year” festivities Saturday. Featured are the Chinatown Center Stars of Los Angeles performing “Magic Faces,” and other theatrics, plus the Ho Wang Bao Chinese Music Center Orchestra, Yu-Ling Lu Chinese Classical Dance Troupe and Camarillo Mi Tzung Lo Han Kung Fu Assn. staging lion dances.
