Regarding “No Boundaries” [Jan. 4]: Some photographs show expert skiers with helmets, and others without protective headgear. With the dangers that come with this level of skiing it seems as though a helmet would be mandatory and smart in all cases ... except maybe the “macho” (read stupid) ones.
