From Times Staff and Wire Reports
San Diego County officials are notifying about 450 people that their personal information may have been stolen during the theft of more than $60,000 in cash, checks and credit card receipts from the courthouse here.
The Sheriff’s Department is searching for David Macias, 48, a longtime court employee who officials said had access to the area where the stolen items were stored. The cash, checks and credit card receipts come from traffic fines paid last week.
