Avengers beat Predators in overtime

ORLANDO, FLA. — Sonny Cumbie threw a nine-yard touchdown pass to Rob Turner to give the Avengers a 44-37 overtime victory over the Orlando Predators on Monday night in the Arena Football League.
Cumbie completed 32 of 48 passes for 340 yards and five touchdowns for the Avengers (1-1). Lenzie Jackson caught 11 passes for 124 yards and a touchdown, and Kevin Ingram had 10 receptions for 113 yards and two scores. Shane Stafford was 22 of 46 for 274 yards and three touchdowns for the Predators (1-1). DeAndrew Rubin led Orlando with 11 catches for 125 yards and two touchdowns.
