Withhold money from Mahony

Re “Scandals weighing on scales of justice,” column, March 21
Los Angeles Cardinal Roger Mahony has done a tremendous public relations campaign to convince the world that he is the champion of immigrants’ rights. Meanwhile, he lies to his flock to cover up the criminal conduct of molesters and cover his own posterior. We Catholics in L.A. are entitled to an archbishop who is more concerned with his flock and his hardworking, honest priests than with his own reputation and legacy. It is time for him to resign or for the flock in the pews to withhold their monetary support throughout the archdiocese.
