So Bill Plaschke thinks Phil Jackson should have used his “manners” instead of truthfully addressing the Lakers’ failure to improve their roster, as promised by Mitch Kupchak and Jim Buss? Plaschke’s rant about Phil and Kobe is typical of him spending a lot of time to make a point and still missing it.
Sorry, but the bottom line is this: Phil and Kobe are right. Maybe not necessarily how they said it, but what they said. And frankly, Lakers management does not deserve the privilege of having its ineptitude kept out of the papers and behind closed doors any longer.
