October surprise?

I just realized that Mitch Kupchak is a genius! Instead of little press releases here and there about his masterful wheeling and dealing, he’s planning one big news conference right before training camp. Only then will he announce all the big trades, all the great deals, and all the All-Stars he’s bringing in to help make this the best Lakers season ever! Right?
