Baidu’s shares decline after death of CFO

Shares of Baidu.com Inc., owner of China’s most popular Internet search site, fell after the death of Chief Financial Officer Shawn Wang, who helped prepare the company’s initial public offering on the Nasdaq Stock Market in 2005.
Wang died in an accident in China on Thursday, the Beijing- based company said Saturday. A group of senior managers will oversee his duties until a successor is named. The cause of death wasn’t provided.
Baidu fell $9.07, or 2.3%, to $389.80 in New York.
