Bill Dwyre carded a beautiful eagle in his column on Golfweek’s noose cover.
He split the fairway with his, “A magazine apparently seen by hundreds.”
Then, he hit a beautiful approach with, “Our children don’t see the world around them in our minivans. They’re watching TV.”
Finally, he finished it off with a curling, downhill 45-foot putt with, “She is web hits, the current fool’s gold of the newspaper industry.”
The late, great Jim Murray could not have played the hole more perfectly.

Dwyre sounds like a crotchety old man stuck in the past, who can’t deal with the changing media scene and the new rules for what’s news. To which I say:
Good for him!
