If Bill de Blasio wanted to be the first to announce that Goldman Sachs executive Alicia Glen would be his deputy mayor for housing and economic development, he should have started his press conference on time. While the mayor-elect kicked off Monday’s event half an hour late, the Daily News reports that the “always-punctual” Partnership for New York City released a statement praising the yet-to-be announced appointment right on time. We don’t know why @HowLateWasBdB was deleted, but it wasn’t for lack of material.
