The country band told Fox News Digital they first worked with the boy band back in 2019 when they sang Rascal Flatts’ hit song, “What Hurts the Most” together.
With the Academy celebrating 60 years of the ACM Awards in 2025, band member, Jay DeMarcus explained country music’s welcoming nature is something he has always admired.
“I've always viewed the Country Music Association, all of us together, as one big family. We're very welcoming,” he said.
“We let people come over and collaborate and make country music. Whether or not they're classic country artists or not, everybody's welcome over here. We're all very inclusive. And I that's one of the things that I'm most proud of over the years is that we've allowed this to be such a big family that everybody's welcomed.”
His bandmate, Gary LeVox, echoed his statements, adding “we've taken the all the boundaries off and everything's out of a box now,” and that he can’t wait to see how country music continues to evolve over the next 50 years.
