Man struck, killed by arrow in Lancaster

A man struck by an arrow died after leaving a trail of blood on a Lancaster street early Saturday, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department and several media reports.
Homicide detectives responded to the 43000 block of 27th Street West about 3:30 a.m. and found the victim, KTLA reported. The man was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead, authorities said.
The man had an arrow wound to the upper torso, CBS Los Angeles reported.
A man was taken into custody in connection with the death, but no further information was available, Deputy Juanita Navarro-Suarez said.
